World of VEEN

Christian Aarø Mortensen, an old veteran in the Danish, French and English restaurant scenes, opened Prémisse in 2008 as a co-owner and later became the solo owner of the restaurant. In 2009, the restaurant changed its name to aarø & co. (abbreviated a|o|c). Together with other key persons, such as the Head Chef Ronny Emborg, Mr. Mortesen assures that a|o|c's chefs have worked their magic to bring you unbeatable combinations of flavours, textures and forms - and of course only from the finest ingredients.

a|o|c's kitchen highlights cuisine as both science and art, in which the ultimate goal is to bring forth the natural flavours of the best ingredients. The fond of the restaurant can be summarized in one phrase: Essentially Scandinavian - Passionately European.

a|o|c is one of the few restaurants in Copenhagen that can offer a fine dining experience for up to 100 diners in the main dining room. This allows tremendous flexibility: you can easily organize business dinners, birthdays, weddings etc. in the restaurant.
