VEEN Wins iTQ Awards
VEEN is the best water in the world in the best bottle in the world. iTQi judges, recognized by international authorities and world renowned culinary guides such as the Michelin and Gault et Millau, awarded VEEN with two stars. Like Michelin restaurants, two stars are a guarantee of an exceptionally remarkable product requiring marks between 80% and under 90%, while VEEN rating was 87%.
Since it´s launch August 23rd, 2007, in Helsinki, Finland, VEEN has been awarded many prestigious global design awards, like ”Good Design Award” and ”The Best Bottle in Glass”. Now VEEN has been granted merit for it´s taste. Sauna, sisu and perkele. These are the things that drive Finns like us towards unobtainable goals.
The International Taste & Quality Institute, iTQi, is the leading independent Chef- and Sommelier- based organization dedicated to judging, honouring and promoting superior tasting food and drink from around the world.
From Brussels iTQi actively partners with the 10 most prestigious European culinary organizations: Maîtres Cuisiniers of France and Belgium, Academy of Culinary Arts, Federación de Asociaciones de Cocineros de España, Académie Culinaire of France, Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe, Federazione dei Cuochi Italiana, Hellenic Chef's Association, Verband der Köche Deutschlands and Euro-Toques. VEEN Waters Finland Oy
VEEN Waters Finland Oy was founded in December 2006 by three Finnish entrepreneurs with respect to the purity of Finnish water. The founding partners are Tomi Grönfors (Managing Director), Ville Hvitfelt (CFO) and Antti Eklund (Brand Director). Mikko Nikkilä is now also a partner (Director of Sales).
