VEEN and Qasimi take the ideas out of London, this time to Paris. The duo appears on Sunday at Paris Fashion Week with beautiful new line from Khalid Al Qasimi. Qasimi showcases one of the most luxurious lines while the guests can sip VEEN to go with the show.

Qasimi’s latest menswear collection takes inspiration from the notion of the ‘higher being’, redefining masculinity through their signature tailoring, creating luxurious classic pieces which are simultaneously timeless yet fresh. Embracing the decadent, soft fabric, which provides a neutral palette of roses, grays, and creams presents a more intelligent, considered perspective on what it means to be a man. The collection again achieves the unrivalled luxury of Qasimi, continuing their tradition for the finer things in life.

Khalid Al Qasimi was introduced to the lavish luxuriance of the Middle East from an early age, and it is this that sits at the heart of his work. The collection takes Qasimi’s expertise in luxury tailoring to the next level. Traditional men’s classics such as the shirt, blazer, and dress trousers are adapted in pastel organza and delicate chiffons, playing on the dichotomy between masculine strength and the subtle, organic fabrics. The male silhouette is transformed through cropped jackets, high-waisted trousers, careful draping, and exposed flesh. Men who wear Qasimi not only aspire to the finer things in life, they live amongst them – surrounding themselves with only the best.

 

HARRODS CHOOSES NEW VEEN LONGJOHN33 AS HOUSE BRAND


Harrods has chosen VEEN as its house water brand. A brand new, smaller 0,33L edition will recieve its global launch at the world famous department store later this month. The award-winning spring water will be available in the store’s restaurants in the designer 0.33l and 0,66L bottles, as well as continuing to retail exclusively in the Food Halls.

Exceptional taste and quality

VEEN comes from a free flowing spring in the natural wilderness of Finnish Lapland, one of the least populated areas of Europe, resulting in exceptionally low nitrate levels. The low minerality in the Lappish soil creates a unique, smooth taste.

VEEN LongJohn

The crystal clear Extra Flint Glass was the natural choice for VEEN bottles to protect the taste and quality of the water as well as to ensure recyclability for sustainable product development. The clear Scandinavian design form of the new LongJohns bottle is a brand signature, with the the ”LongJohn” embossing bringing a contemporary twist. The name comes from the design’s continuous wallpaper pattern that resembles the classic underwear design used in Finland. The bottle is created and manufactured in close co-operation with Owens-Illinois.

What brings symphonic metal band Nightwish into cooperation with VEEN spring water? Is this a sign that rock 'n roll just isn't what it used to be? After a brief moment of thinking, there are certainly some qualities connecting these two Finnish megabrands. They both get their inspiration from mythologies, and they are both highly respected in their own gendre. However, there is an even more obvious connection, which brings us to the small town of Kitee back in 1985.
