Arsenal Football Club held its Annual Charity Ball on 6 May 2010 at Emirates Stadium in aid of its Charity of the Season, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, one of the world’s leading children’s hospitals, and the Arsenal Charitable Trust.  VEEN Waters was there to support the cause and was served as the official water to the guests attending the Charity Ball.

The Gunners’ World Ball was hosted by X Factor presenter and Arsenal fan Dermot O’Leary and attended by the Arsenal manager, first team squad and Barbara Windsor MBE, who has supported the partnership from the very beginning. It promised to be a spectacular evening which included live music from BRIT nominated The Feeling.  In addition, the smooth tasting VEEN played its part in being the perfect match with a menu of fine food and wines brought to guests by celebrity chef, Raymond Blanc.

The evening saw a host of celebrity guests supporting this event in innovative ways to keep guests entertained and amused throughout the night including an exciting grand auction with money-can’t-buy prizes to please the crowd. The night were rounded off with a set played by radio DJ Emma B.

Arsenal’s Manager, Arsène Wenger said: “The annual ball is the culmination of a wonderful partnership with our Charity of the Season which the players and myself look forward to.  It’s a befitting way to bid farewell to Great Ormond Street Hospital and to raise a large amount of money in order to reach - and even surpass - our season’s target of £500,000 for this wonderful charity.”
